This features the late, great, Cyril Davies on harmonica and vocals from the 1962 Blues Incoporated Album, with Alexis Korner on amplified acoustic guitar. Dick Heckstall-Smith also played on the live album, recorded at London’s Marquee club. Alexis Korner and Cyril Davies were the real joint fathers of the British blues, John Mayall was a bit later, and this is what people who went on to form the Yardbirds, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and others were listening to.
